It really is funny how much marketing advice boils down to simply being human.

Here’s an example: Belinda Griffin’s tips on building a relationship with your email-newsletter subscribers include “show an interest in them” and “tell them about yourself.”

You know, just like when you create a relationship with another person in real life!
