There’s an art to setting goals, as you’ve probably already found out by now.

Set them too high, and you run the real risk of falling short and abandoning them out of frustration.

Set them too low, and while you achieve them, you simply stop after meeting a relatively low benchmark.

That’s why author Susann Cokal suggests a middle ground: an ambitious, but attainable, goal.

More of a challenge or dare to yourself, really, that you attempt something that pulls you outside of your comfort zone.
