Yesterday, we shared Penny Sansevieri’s advice on how to market an older book.

Now it’s time to swing in the opposite direction — how do you market a book that isn’t out yet?

The answer is, you don’t. Well, you don’t focus on the book exclusively, especially not at first.

Instead, you need to be marketing your brand and yourself, preferably a healthy amount of time before the book comes out, so that you have an audience who wants to hear about this new release.
