How to create conflict among your novel's cultures

Territorial war is an obvious choice for conflict in your novel, whether it takes place in the real world or an imagined one.

Author Greta Kelly says it’s not the only option, though.

She suggests considering three reasons over which cultures might clash internally or externally when you’re worldbuilding — historical conflict, natural resources, and power and class relations.
