Amazon shared an update to its Kindle Vella content guidelines last week, in response to author feedback.

Those of you most interested in the serialized-story program probably already saw it, but perhaps not — and perhaps you’re still mildly curious rather than avidly so.

At any rate, the major change is Kindle Vella content may be included in a book (or other format), under certain conditions.

Kindle Vella is currently set to open to readers in mid- to late July.
