Some of you may be wishing you had a time machine, just to send you back to the weekend and away from the workweek.

Writer’s Digest can’t provide that, but its editor is also a fan of the idea of time travel — specifically, as a compelling plot twist for your novel.

Robert Lee Brewer explains the ways in which time travel can amp up your novel and adds a few notes of caution about its other unintended side effects (on the manuscript, that is, not on humanity’s existence).
