All authors, not just those enrolled in Kindle Direct Publishing, can now use Amazon Ads.

Penny Sansevieri of Author Marketing Experts says that's generally good news, but there's also room for concern.

Specifically, she fears that the expansion will prompt inexperienced or not-so-reputable companies to successfully sell ad packages to authors — costing them both time and money.

Sansevieri's post sharing her wariness includes a link to a podcast mini-episode on changes to Amazon Ads (and a quiz to test your understanding of what she covered, if you miss your school days).
