Publishers Weekly reported, in a subscriber-only article, that Google Play has expanded its AI-narrated audiobook creation option to the US, UK, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, and Spain.
This news was shared (for free) in The New Publishing Standard, which also added some commentary.
Specifically, Mark Williams expressed some skepticism about the big-picture threat to voice actors and narrators.
