Amazon announced a few updates to its Kindle Direct Publishing program last week.

The one that's likely of greater interest is improvements to KDP Reports Beta — specifically, that the orders report includes historical data and the royalties estimator tool provides downloadable reports.

As of today, KDP Reports Beta should be the main reporting experience.

Also of note: the rules have loosened for low-content books with repetitive content. (For example: notebooks, planners, journals, etc.)

KDP no longer requires an ISBN for low-content books to be published, but it also won't provide a free KDP ISBN.

Thanks to The Digital Reader for sharing these updates.
