We all learn from experience, whether it's our own or that of others.

And so we make a point of sharing Kristine Kathryn Rusch's real-life examples of the consequences of business decisions — it makes, at least to us, the results seem more concrete and less abstract.

Sometimes, those tales are cautionary ones; today, they're celebratory.

Rusch has a spoiler-free post about how the TV show Stranger Things skyrocketed a thirty-plus-year-old song by Kate Bush up the sales charts.

But more importantly, it's about how Bush fought to retain the copyright to that song, "Running Up That Hill" (and to her other work) — and how much it's literally paying off right now.
